    Performance Management consists of two key verticals, Value Optimization and Business Performance Excellence. These two verticals are inextricably linked and together act as the performance engine for AmeriHealth Caritas, ensuring that our operations and businesses are executing at the highest levels of excellence.

    Business Performance Excellence activates business leaders at all levels to consistently focus attention on performance by proactively identifying, intercepting, and resolving critical issues across the organization. The vertical creates a continuous improvement mindset and interaction model that drives the business connectivity, capabilities, and accountability needed to execute against the company's goals.

    The Manager, Performance Management will report to the Director of Business Performance Excellence and lead a team comprised of multiple Analysts. The Manager will support the function in driving execution excellence across the business through strategic projects and capability building that institutionalizes organizational change.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Supporting Business Performance Excellence in generating insights from performance dashboards and root cause analysis, and collaborating with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities

    • Managing cross-functional project teams to successfully execute complex, high-priority initiatives for the enterprise

    • Leading diverse teams to define objectives, identify and evaluate trends and options, choose a course of action, and monitor outcomes

    • Performing research, analysis, and ideation as necessary to design solutions to key performance issues

    • Identifying risks to implementation and sustainability of project outcomes, and partnering with business leads or functional experts to develop mitigation strategies?

    • Presenting high-level updates on strategic projects for senior executives using clear, top-down communication

    • Working alongside business leaders and functional experts toconduct periodic reviews and evaluation of ongoing business performance

    • Coaching, mentoring, and developing direct reports, including career development planning and performance evaluation

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, required

    • 5 - 10 years of work experience in performance management, strategy, consulting, finance, analytics, or a similar role

    • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred

    • Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred

    • Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to rapidly synthesize business challenges

    • Ability to collaborate with leaders across an organization to obtain alignment and "buy-in"

    • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take initiative

    • Ability to manage progress of a strategic project and ensure accountability of its success

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    NOTE : AmeriHealth Caritas utilizes a hybrid work environment with associates working from home two days a week, and in the office three days a week. The functions of this position will be performed onsite at our corporate headquarters located at 3875 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, 19073.
