  • The Virtual Learning & In-person Event Planner is responsible for the logistical planning and execution of CHA's virtual and in-person programs, including those programs with both virtual and in-person components.

    Working closely with CHA internal staff, speakers, and third-party vendors, this position will facilitate the logistics and technology for delivering quality and engaging learning experiences in the virtual and in-person environments. This position implements the full scope of logistics, technology and event planning to support virtual and/or in-person programs, from set-up to delivery and execution of events through post-event analysis and follow up.

    Virtual programs include, but are not limited to live webinars, live stream broadcasts, live virtual conferences and workshops, Simu live programs, and hybrid programs that include a virtual component. In-person events include, but are not limited to CHA's Mission, Ethics and Sponsorship Programs and the Catholic Health Assembly. Future programs may contain both virtual and in-person components

    Requirements:

    At least 2 years of experience in planning and implementing the delivery of live virtual learning programs. Experience in Learning Management System platforms for the development of virtual learning content; experience in using BlueSky eLearn's Path LMS is preferred. Experience in onboarding and working with speakers and subject matter experts to use Webcasting platforms to deliver engaging virtual learning experiences. 2 years experience in in-person meeting planning or hospitality strongly preferred.

    • Exhibits strong project management skills, more specifically an ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for details.
    • A commitment to adult education and creating an innovative learning environment.
    • Proven ability to manage and host live events using Webcasting platforms, such as WebEx, Adobe Connect, GoToWebinar, Zoom and live streaming platforms, such as YouTube Live, Crowdcast, etc.
    • Proven ability to address technical issues/problems associated with Webcasting platforms.
    • Ability to cultivate and maintain internal and external professional relationships.
    • Understanding of current and emerging learning technology.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an ability to learn new software with ease. Desire to learn meeting planning software tools such as Passkey or GroupAssist.

    Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in virtual and in-person program planning or related field.
